The Residences Phuket Resort
Located quietly on Kamala’s evergreen hillsides, The Residences Phuket Resort introduces a new way of living in Asia. Known as “The Edge of Heaven,” the residences seamlessly blend luxury with nature. This addition to the resort complex elevates everyday life. It completes the resort’s trilogy, inspired by Tribhumikatha cosmology: the hotel as the Heart of Heaven, the Emerald Pool and gardens as the Garden of Heaven, and the residences as the Far East Paradise.
Developed by Proud Real Estate Public Company Limited and designed by Habita Architects, the residences offer a refined living experience. Known for their context-driven design, Habita Architects have created more than just a building; they have crafted an emotional sanctuary for long-term living.
A Transformation from Resort Energy to Residential Sanctuary
The shift from the resort to the residences marks a purposeful change. It moves from ethereal resort energy to a familiar, calming sanctuary. The architecture was designed to foster a sense of belonging. Every detail, from the stepped-cornered buildings to the warm materials, contributes to the tranquil atmosphere. These residences invite residents to leave behind the world of discovery and settle into a peaceful home.
This design approach ensures that every element of the living space promotes a serene environment. It fosters a lifestyle centered around calmness and ease.
Interpreting Paradise for Everyday Living
While the resort celebrates traditional Thai influences, The Residences Phuket Resort interprets paradise differently. The architecture balances modern elegance with historical elements. Inspired by Phuket’s Sino-European and Peranakan heritage, the design incorporates rhythmically recessed corners and ventilated façades. It subtly references Phuket’s historic shophouses while embracing contemporary aesthetics.
Inside, the residences blend Peranakan artistry and Sino-European sophistication. Traditional Thai color tones and natural light create a calming atmosphere that changes throughout the day. This living rhythm invites residents to connect with both the home and the surrounding environment.
Inspired by Local Craft, Climate, and Cultural Heritage
The residences are located at the edge of the mythical Himmapan Forest, symbolizing the boundary between heaven and earth. The landscape, designed by PLA Landscape, features sacred plants and local flora. The gardens reflect the cosmology of the resort, incorporating four mythical guardians that bring symbolic meaning to different parts of the landscape. This design provides not only beauty but also a deeper connection to nature.
The residences are built to respond to Phuket’s tropical climate. Perforated screens and recessed corners filter sunlight into soft patterns. The choice of materials ensures the residences will age gracefully, maintaining their timeless appeal for years to come.

The Residences Phuket Resort embrace a more restrained architectural approach compared to Phuket’s typically bold coastal buildings. With their natural tones and elegant proportions, they blend seamlessly into the hillside. The Paradise Garden Court, at the heart of the development, offers a green sanctuary framed by mountains and sea. This central space serves as the emotional core of the residences—a place for residents to pause, reconnect, and embrace nature.
Three of Thailand’s leading design studios—Habita Architects, PLA Landscape, and PIA Interior—have come together to create a home where architecture, nature, and interiors harmonize. Their shared vision is to provide a meaningful sanctuary where calm is at the center of everyday living.
